How do I order a cake?
Before purchasing, please be aware of our Dates of Unavailability pop up that appears on our Menu page. To order, take a look at our menu to view our product options. After selecting your item(s), please add the item(s) to your cart, and checkout. After checkout, you will be directed to a Thank You screen with a link that allows you to select the date/time for pickup from our calendar (please allow at least 7 days for preparation, large/custom orders allow at least two weeks).
If a customer does not select date/time for pickup by the end of the day the order was placed, their order will be refunded the following morning.
**For custom orders, please inquire at least two weeks in advance via phone, email, or the form below. Custom orders $100 or more require a deposit of half of the total (nonrefundable), this deposit must be made no later than 24 hours after placing your order. Custom orders that total less than $100 must be paid in full (nonrefundable) no later than 24 hours after placing your order. Payments made late will either be refused or considered as a "rush order," resulting in an added fee of $20 due at pickup.**

I selected a date for pickup/delivery, but I need to change it. Can I do that?
When ordering a cake please be ready to submit the date you will need it for along with the time for pickup. You can select these options after purchasing from our Booking Calendar or via email when purchasing a custom cake. Customers are allowed ONE date change. After your date/time has been changed one time, it can no longer be altered.
6 Days or Less Advance Notice (Rush Order) = No date change available
7 days Advance Notice (Standard Ordering Time) = 24 hours available for date change
8 days or more = 48 hours available for date change
New date CANNOT be changed to a date BEFORE the original due date.
Do you have a storefront? Where is the pickup location?
We are working on opening our very own storefront! Please follow our social media pages for updates with more details. To ensure there is no confusion, the pickup location is provided here on our site after placing your order. Feel free to call us if you have any questions.
What is your pickup policy?
As of August 1st, 2021, customers have a 15-minute grace period that begins at the time of their scheduled pickup. If a customer has not arrived by the end of that 15-minute window, they must pay a $20 late fee (cash only) to receive their order. This also applies for all Sugar Hive Cake Club orders.
After 30 minutes, customers must call/text to schedule a new pickup time for their order. Bee Buzzed associates will reschedule the new order pickup based on the Bee Buzzed associate's availability ONLY. If a customer does NOT pick up their cake at the time it was requested and has not spoken with a Bee Buzzed associate, they are subject to forfeit their order AND payment.
Do you offer delivery or shipping?
At the moment delivery is not an option on our site. If you wish to have your order delivered please call us directly to place an order. Delivery is only available to the Metro Detroit area within a 20 mile radius from our location (48212). Shipping is ONLY available for our Ship-to-Me Bundt cakes from our menu. The price for shipping is covered in the total cost of the Ship-to-Me Bundt cakes, there is no additional fee for shipping.
What is your shipping policy?
Please order one week prior to when you would like the order shipped out. 3 day shipping is included in the total price. Orders with invalid addresses will NOT be refunded after order is made and/or shipped out. Bee Buzzed is NOT responsible for postal delay and/or orders not delivered due to customer or postal error.
What is your refund and return policy?
We do not accept returns on ANY order. Once your order leaves our possession, we are no longer responsible. Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of placing your order to receive a full refund. Cancellations made outside of the 24-hour window may receive a partial refund at the discretion of Bee Buzzed.
Can I order a cake that is not on the menu?
We offer a "Build Your Own" option, that tells you all of the flavor choices we have for cake, icing, and toppings. If you request a cake that is not listed on our page, please reach out to us below.
I want to taste your cake but not order a whole one. Can I purchase a slice?
Currently, we do not sell by the slice. However, there are days where we have a few extra slices from an event and will sell those for $5 per slice. We also offer free slices on our annual Free Slice Day, which is July 1st.
Is the liquor in the cake?
Yes, the liquor you choose is inserted into our frosting. Unfortunately, there is no high probability to get "buzzed" from your order. To order an "infused cake" please reach out to us below.
